New Open Access Options in the American Naturalist

Immediate Open Access

With the immediate open access option, authors can make the electronic versions of their articles available on the journal website as soon as they are published. Charges are as follows:

ASN Student Member
Free for single-author student papers (e-article or print)

ASN Member
$700 for print and e-articles

Nonmember from a subscribing institution
$700 for print and e-articles 

Nonmember
$1400 for print and e-articles

UK authors should note that this option cannot be used to comply with RCUK regulations for gold OA, as the University of Chicago Press requires permission for commercial reuse. UCP does comply with the RCUK regulations for green OA.

 

"Green" Open Access

The University of Chicago Press supports Green Open Access for all articles, as defined by the RCUK Open Access Policy, under the Press’s Guidelines for Journal Authors’ Rights.
